A speed fiesta in the heart of Nicosia

Psaltis - ENEOS Super Special Stage

We are just hours away from the start of the 2018 Cyprus Rally, which will be the fourth European Rally Championship round (ERC) and the second Middle-East Rally Championship (MERC) but also the fourth round of the local championship. The Start will take place tomorrow on the beachfront at Foinikoudes in Larnaca. Our rally is, once more, the only event in the world that hosts two regional FIA championship rounds.

Thirteen Special Stages filled with drama and action await crews and cars in the 2018 Cyprus Rally. High speed passages and flowing stages are the main ingredients for this year’s course which totals at 763.32km, of which 208.22km will be the Special Stages. The entry list this year consists of 62 crews. The highlight of the course will be the Psaltis-ENEOS Super Special Stage that will run on Sunday morning at 09:36. The total distance of the SSS will be 4.82 and much like other years, it will host tens of thousands of fans who will enjoy high speed action in the heart of Nicosia.

The biggest names of the ERC, MERC and from the locals scene will round up for a timed battle in the capital’s streets for the eight Special Stage of the rally. All the crews engaged in some much needed recce of the entire course and are ready for that exhilarating pass from the SSS.

The SSS this year is the fifth running of the stage in a row and will have the support of Psaltis Autoparts, sole distributor of the ENEOS Motor Oil lubricants. The “Psaltis–ENEOS Super Special Stage” will be dressed for the occasion from Sunday morning, ready to be a part of Cypriot rally history once more when it hosts the fastest crews of Europe, Cyprus and the Middle-East.
